UAN is a highly effective liquid nitrogen fertilizer, which is a mixed aqueous solution of urea (carbamide) and ammonium nitrate with a nitrogen content of 30-32%. UAN is the only fertilizer that includes all three forms of nitrogen: nitrate, ammonium and amide. Due to the presence of three forms of nitrogen, UAN provides prolonged nutrition of plants throughout the growing season and ensures full assimilation of nitrogen by plants. UAN practically does not contain free ammonia, which eliminates nitrogen losses during loading, transportation, storage and application to the soil.
